Electrostatic Sprayers
The Electrostatic Sprayers used to apply water based chemicals create a fine mist, with droplets 900 times smaller than those produced by conventional sprayers. After the tiny droplets are given an electrical charge at the tip of the spray nozzle, they travel in a turbulent air-stream until reaching the target. The charge on the droplets, though small, pulls the spray toward the target at 75 times the force of gravity. The spray droplets literally reverse direction and move upwards, against gravity, when passing a surface. The remarkable phenomenon by which the spray is able to coat the underside and backside of the target is known as electrostatic wraparound.
